Payment Link (Pay by Link)

Overview

The Payment Link (Pay by Link) page allows merchants to create and manage payment links that can be shared with customers to complete payments remotely.

This feature is designed for merchants who want to collect payments without requiring the customer to be physically present or use a POS device.

What Is a Payment Link?

A payment link is a secure URL generated by the system that allows a customer to complete a payment online.

Once the link is created, it can be shared with the customer through multiple channels such as email, SMS, or WhatsApp.

Create Payment Link Page

This page allows merchants to create a new payment link by entering payment and customer details.

Payment Details

The merchant can define the payment information:

Amount - The payment amount
Currency - The currency for the transaction
Description - Optional description of the payment

A payment link preview is displayed on the same page to review the entered details before creation.

Customer Details

Merchants can enter customer information:

Customer name
Customer email
Mobile number

Notification Channels

Merchants can choose how the customer will be notified:

📧 Email
📱 SMS
💬 WhatsApp

Multiple notification channels can be selected at the same time.

Link Settings

Additional settings include:

Reference ID (optional)
Expiry date

The expiry date defines how long the payment link remains valid.

Create Payment Link

Once all required information is filled:

Click Create Link
The payment link is generated successfully
The link becomes available in the Payment Links list

Payment Links Page

This page displays all payment links created by the merchant.

Each payment link shows:

Customer name
Reference ID
Description
Amount
Transaction ID (if paid)
Order ID
Expiry date
Status

Notes

Payment links are visible only to the merchant who created them
Expired or cancelled links cannot be reused
Paid links are locked and cannot be modified
